On March 20, 2025, the seminar “EdTech on the Run” was conducted at Ju Ching Chu Secondary School (Yuen Long) (裘錦秋中學(元朗)). The session focused on how educational technology (EdTech) is transforming learning and how these tools can empower students in their studies and daily lives.

During the seminar, examples of how PolyU has utilized EdTech to transform traditional classroom settings into dynamic, interactive learning environments were shared. By showcasing these examples, the aim was to inspire students to embrace a similar innovative spirit in their own schools.

Insightful talks on the applications of immersive technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and creative skills such as photography were given by Dr. Rodney Chu (Principal Investigator), Miss Kathy Lam, and Mr. Nick Liong.

To make the session interactive, students engaged in hands-on activities, including using AI tools and practicing photography techniques to create their own blog posts. These activities allowed them to experience the practical applications of EdTech firsthand while fostering creativity and collaboration.
